Janis is amazing!!!! My husband and I were looking to find someone to choreograph our first dance and help teach me some ballroom steps as I didn't have a background in ballroom dance. Janis was the perfect fit! In just 4 lessons she had choreographed our first dance and we could not have been more happy with it! We still get compliments on it!

My fiancé and I purchased a package of four dance lessons from Janis before our wedding, and we were so happy that we did! Neither of us had any prior experience, and Janis was patient with her instruction. She picked a dance type suitable to our chosen first song, and even had the song edited to a better tempo. She videoed the final run through at each practice so we could watch and learn for the next lesson. The day of the wedding, we were confident and comfortable with our dance routine. It was a special part of our wedding day since my fiancé and I had worked together to learn. We really enjoyed our lessons and the overall experience with Janis.

Janis was absolutely wonderful. My fiancé and I had very little formal dancing experience before starting our lessons, but Janis made it fun and easy for both of us. We learned the box step/rumba for our first dance and also some swing dancing just for fun. She is a passionate teacher with an incredible amount of knowledge and experience. Most importantly, she takes her time and makes sure that you establish a good foundation before she adds on more complex moves. We are so excited about showing off our new dance moves at our wedding! My husband and I did the 5-lesson bridal package and absolutely loved it. We are not the most coordinated, but Janis helped us pick a fun song that was totally “us”. Janis made us feel comfortable, and taught us one-on-one for the lessons. We learning basic steps for a fox trot as well as some swing. By the end of the lessons, we had a really fun dance that our guests absolutely loved. I can’t wait to see the photos, because this was a moment at our wedding we will never forget!!

My husband and I took 10 lessons from Janis in preparing for our first dance. She was very knowledgable, and often worked with us on scheduling (and last minute rescheduling!) due to my husband’s job. We brought our music selection to her, and she recommended we dance a foxtrot! Everything was wonderful! Janis even attended our wedding and made sure everything went according to plan! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Janis! My husband and I took lessons with her to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. Much to my husband’s surprise, we BOTH had a blast and looked forward to every lesson!!! Janis made learning to dance fun and easy even for us beginners. The dance lessons were a wonderful way to get away from the stress of wedding planning and have some fun, and we were complimented on our first dance all night!!
